Adding Your Location on Shyft:
During the onboarding process, you will be asked to search for your location by city/zip or by location.
Searching via city/zip will take you to a screen where you will input your company name and address; for better results, we recommend starting with your zip code. When the map opens, you're able to zoom in or out to find your location notated via location pin - on the map. You can always press " Search this area" to refine your search if you move around on the map a bit!
Searching via Location Code will land you directly in your location with the rest of your team. Just make sure you are joining the right location!
Joining a new or second location once you already are part of a channel on Shyft:
If you are already part of a location but wish to move to a new location, or add a second location please follow these steps:
- Open the 'Profile' Tab
- Tap on the location pin next to the listed address in the black bar across the top of the screen
- Scroll down and select '+ Add Work Location'
- Find your new/additional location via city/zip or code
- Join new location!
If you wish to leave your original location, you may now do so (you cannot leave one location until you join a new one). Head back to the orginal location you wish to no longer be a part of, click on the profile tab, scroll to the bottom and press "Leave Location".
