Viewing Content in Team Channels
To view content, simply scroll through the Channel feed to find the information you are looking for. Tap directly on any multimedia within a post to open a gallery or web view to browse the content. Within the gallery view, users can slide through multiple image posts. All other content types will open a web browser in the application to view the content including PDFs, surveys, and other links.
Post Actions Menu
Users can long-press on any message sent in a communication channel to reveal the Post Actions Menu. This will provide a variety of options to manage the post, edit the post, add a reaction, pin the post, or open the comment thread view.
Comments
To comment on a post, long press to pull up the Post Actions Menu and then tap on Comment to access the Comment thread. This will take the user to a view where they can see all comments previously made on the post and add their own. Tap on the keyboard to enter your comment and click the send button.
Likes
All posts can be Liked by long pressing on the post to pull up the Post Actions Menu and then tapping on the Like Post option with the Thumbs Up icon. Users can long-press on the Like icon to view the number of likes on the post as well as view who has liked the post.
Announcements & Read Receipts
Announcement posts can only be made by Admins and are highlighted in blue. They have a checkmark underneath them that users can tap on to mark the post as read. To view who has marked a post as read, long press on the checkmark icon to see the total count and the specific users that have read the post. A history of all Announcement posts can be viewed by tapping on the Channel Settings icon in the top right corner of a channel feed and then tapping on Announcements.
Pinned Posts
To Pin a post, long press on the content to open the Post Actions Menu and tap on Pin Post. This will highlight the post in yellow for other parties to see, adding significance to the content. A collection of all Pinned posts can be viewed by tapping on the Channel Settings icon in the top right corner of a channel feed and then tapping on Pinned Posts.
