The Community tab offers a variety of methods and tools to communicate with employees in real-time. The two main forums for communication are Team Channels and Direct Messaging.
Team Channels
Team Channels can be used to share information with large or small groups of employees. When accessing the Community tab, all active Channels and Direct Messages a user has participated in will be displayed. When a new message is received, it appears as the top row in the list, and a blue dot on the right indicates a new message is waiting.
Direct Messaging
At the top of the Community tab, a list of online users is displayed horizontally, with each avatar marked with a green dot indicating online status. These users are active in the app and can be reached with a Direct Message in real time.
