There are 7 shift card types that will display in the application which will populate the calendar views. Each shift card type has a color associated with it. These will appear as a stripe in the upper left corner of each card, and as a dot in the date pickers to identify which days have the specific shift types. All card types are also labeled for accessibility.

| Scheduled Shifts | Black | Associate or Admin scheduled shifts. |
| Team Rosters | Black | Aggregate roster views of all Associates working that day. |
| Open Shifts | Blue | Open Shifts broadcasted by Admins, covered by Associates. |
| Team Shifts | Green | Employee initiated shift swap requests. |
| Voluntary Time Off (VTO) | Yellow | Admin broadcasted offers for Associates to take VTO. |
| Regional Shifts | Magenta | Open or Team shifts broadcasted to a regional group of sites. |
| Time Off Requests | Orange | Request made by Associates for time off. |
