Shyft Admins have the ability to delete, cancel, or edit Open Shifts.
Deleting a Shift
Prior to any shift approvals taking place, Shyft Admins have the ability to delete Open Shifts. The Open Shift card will be removed from the Shift Marketplace. If there are Pending applicants when the shift is deleted, all Pending applicants will be auto-denied, and the shift will be removed from the Shift Marketplace.
To delete an Open Shift, Admins can tap on the ellipses icon in the top right corner of the Open Shift card and select 'Delete Shift'.
Canceling Remaining Shift Offers
Shyft Admins have the ability to Cancel Remaining Shift Offers on an Open Shift. For example, if 20 Open Shifts were posted and 10 shifts have been Approved, an Admin can cancel the remaining 10 offers and close the Open Shift. The Open Shift will remain in the Shift Marketplace, and no new applicants can apply.
To cancel remaining Open Shift offers, Admins can tap on the ellipses icon in the top right corner of the Open Shift card and select 'Cancel Remaining Shift Offers'.
Editing an Open Shift
Shyft Admins are able to edit the Job Title, Shift Quantity, and Description of Open Shifts. The Shift Quantity may be increased to any amount or decreased to the total amount of Approved applicants. For example, if there were 20 Open Shifts with 5 Approved applicants, an Admin cannot edit and decrease the quantity below 5. Before saving and publishing, Admins can choose to send a push notification to users, notifying them of the changes. Edited shifts will be marked with an “(Edited)” notation in the shift title.
To edit an Open Shift, Admins can tap on the ellipses icon in the top right corner of the Open Shift card and select 'Edit Shift'. They can then proceed with updating the Job Title, Shift Quantity, and/or Description.
